In this year of bad news & poor economy, a little light shines over Lewes, Delaware for the avid boater & fisherman. The new boat ramp is officially open near Roosevelt Inlet & will be ready to use come Spring. The old ramp is closing & the town has made a beautiful park. No, they did not develop the property. They left it for all to enjoy.

Located just North of Canary Creek & the University of Delaware Marine Studies complex on the Broadkill River, this boat ramp has enough parking for 127 cars with trailers & some spots for just cars.

Hopefully this will eliminate the jam up at the docks & reduce traffic inside town limits. Can't wait until Spring to try it out!
